About Us

Barkers Park is located north of Christchurch near Kaiapoi Lakes, just off State Highway 1. It is run by Justin & Petra Sims alongside their two children JJ & Francheska and their much loved Rhodesian Ridgebacks.

Our family and our very knowledgeable, competent and caring staff members, Louise and Melissa, pride ourselves on giving a high standard of love and attention to your beloved family member whilst you are away. We all have a huge passion for animals and will care for your pet as we do our own. We understand that all dogs are different with some requiring special care and attention so we will ensure your pet receives whatever it needs.

Between us we bring knowledge, experience and an understanding of being a pet owner.
